History:
This Institution is
situated Village Sidhrawali.It lies on the
Delhi-Jaipur National Highway No.48. Sidhrawali is educationally better
off than the other villages of the district. It has fairly well developed
facilities for education up to the
degree and B.Ed level .It is located
at 29 km distance from Main City
Gurgaon , in Aravali foothills and Indrani river bed area. The area boasts of a
strong religious and cultural heritage.
The college came into
existence in July 1971 following the persistent demand from the public for
setting up an institute which could cater to the educational requirement of the
area. At the time of inception it was a privately managed co- educational
institute which was governed by the ‘Baba Bhajle Ram Society’, but was later
taken over by the Government of Haryana on 11th February, 1981 as a
part of its policy to bring the private colleges into the educational main
stream of the state. And now it is affiliated to M. D. University, Rohtak and
Gurugram University Gurugram (Haryana) . Today this college has become a prime
institute of higher learning in this educationally, socially and economically
backward rural belt of Haryana. Our college provides quality education to the
students from Sidhrawali and surrounding areas.
The college offers two different streams i.e. Commerce and Arts with 11
departments viz. English, Hindi,
Geography, History, Political Science, Mathematics, Economics, Sanskrit,
Commerce, Computer Science. Currently the college runs three undergraduate
programmes namely B.A.,& B.Com, .
Computer Awareness Certificate Course level- I and Environmental Studies are
also taught to TDC part-1st Year students as compulsory subjects.
